Ingredients –

  • 1 lemon
  • 2-inch piece of ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 1-inch piece of turmeric, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5 cups filtered water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons organic raw honey
  • 2 teaspoons organic apple cider vinegar

Directions –

  1. Cut lemon into quarters.
  2. Cut pieces of ginger and turmeric.
  3. In a vessel, take 5 cups of water and bring it to a boil.
  4. Add all above ingredients to the boiling water along with the cinnamon stick.
  5. Boil this for 45 minutes. The mixture should be reduced to 1 to 1 1/4 cup.
  6. Strain the liquid in a glass.
  7. Whisk 1 1/2 tsp honey.
  8. Let it cool.
  9. Add 2 tsp ACV and you are good to go.
